| RegEditX is an application that allows users to increase productivity while editing registry.It extends the standard Windows Registry Editor (REGEDIT), so you don learning new ways to accomplish the tasks you already know how to do. Soon you will see a row of buttons and a combo box that is located at the bottom of the menu bar registry. The buttons activate frequently used commands like find and bookmark. The combo box contains a registry key that has been examined. Continue to use the Registry Editor, as you did before-expand key in the tree view or edit the list view and the button will automatically appear in the combo box. Once you are there, you can: quickly navigate to the key by selecting it from the combo box. Since you can work with the same key repeatedly, this saves tedious navigation. Cut, Copy, and Paste keys and from the clipboard. Many times online document has a reference to the like button HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoft, etc. Just copy text to the clipboard and paste it in the combo box RegEditX by right-clicking on it and selecting Paste. Then go to the button by pressing RETURN. This is much faster than clicking on them itty bitty sign (+) in the tree view! Navigate through the buttons by typing in the combo box. As you type each part (separated by a slash), the tree will gradually go to the key. After selecting a new key in the structure, both RegEditX auto-resize the columns in the list to show optimally key values. You will be amazed at how much this saves a mouse drag. |
